No worries turpe - no offense taken.
The guys at ILD are bike-bonkers too (one of their guys actually runs the SFGFC blog at http://sfgfc.wordpress.com/). No money is changing hands on these projects, we're just covering costs to create something we're happy to put our name to. Their real input on this one is in the graphics; for the bike (not yet applied), some stickers, spoke cards and tees...
...anyhow, back to the porn as you say...

I hear what you're saying MrSmith - I'm Bath-based and my last effort to get involved in the scene (the ill-fated Keirinfest) didn't exactly go according to plan...
...hopefuly those people who have dealt with me from the forum (Dogsball, Roberto, Roland, Joneant, etc.) have seen that I'm not doing this for mercenary reasons - I'm just a cycling nut trying to make a living doing what I love.
The last reason I'm doing this is to upset anyone, so no more posting, I'll just get my coat...

left and right?
Have a look at the e-levers - they are designed to fit a 26.0 track bar and are much nicer than the diatech option.
Mmm, this is the kind of reaction that means we're not going to be doing many more custom builds...
We're just a small firm and have to buy a large proportion of the parts at retail (inc. respray and wheelbuild) - with an ornate build like this the costs soon mount up, as you can see in the breakdown here:
http://freshtripe.co.uk/Freshtripe/Images/Custom%20Build%20Scorcher.pdf
We're lucky if we make 10% on a project like this, so accusations of 'profiteering' are pretty painful - the reality is its just not worth us doing stuff like this for the cash, we just do it 'cos we enjoy it!
