Though the studio is slap bang in Shoreditch, he might have seen an article on milk bottle mud guards in vice magazine or something...
That is almost certainly the actual truth :(
The article seemed a bit weird and pointless though. Not really worth getting your knickers in a twist about I wouldn't have thought?

Riding up camden high st, some fucking prick pretends to punch me as I ride past him. further up near the lock, a white guy with dreads (why?) pretends to pull his trousers down and act as if taking a shit infront of me. Obviously from cornwall, listens to techno and rides a gay longboard. I hope he dies. I hate camden.
Camden is cock-town all round...
To be honest though, I don't think most people are that observant that they notice if I've got gears of not. A guy did once shout "Fixed wheel freak" at me but I couldn't tell if it was the bad kind of freak.
Probably...

I take it you mean strip all the components off the bike rather than striping the paint off back to the bare metal, as Armortex shot blast/ chemical bath the frame/ forks whatever is being done before powdercoating.
They did my frame, forks, stem and 2 sets of bars for 50 quid
Yes, sorry, I meant just strip it of all parts, not remove the paint yourself. And as mentioned further down they will leave all threads clean and paint free so you don't have to worry about that either.
It really is a top quality service I must admit. Now back to waiting 1 month for my freakin French headset :(
If that's yours, you one TALL muthafucka!
