There's a store in Williamsburg of FGSS compatibility... but they've broken the golden rule and have a sign saying "We don't lend out tools" or similar.

Well, are they? To me, they represent the solution to the "needing wind/rain protection without getting too hot" conundrum.

It looks like the set design for a London-based episode of a US sitcom.

I expect the Duchess of York rides one.

    Bromey Video has it: http://www.bromleyvideo.com/shop/shop.php?c=viewproduct&pid=9&cat=4&sid=sid66ad81d8272f32bf92606d7d827b53ef

I'm sure an internet pirate will have it too... but remember home taping is killing music!

    hippy
Platini Speaking of Terry Dolan.....
    http://www.tony-bell.co.uk/diary.php

Is that story about Dolan then? Is he some kinda nutter?
In the documentary on Chris Boardman's final hour record (ie: the steel frame, "conventional" riding position) Boardman says that Terry Dolan is a volatile character, and has had a row with everyone in cycling - apart from him. But that doesn't mean this is about Dolan...

Condor would pass my independent test (one location, family-owned operation)... although I've heard Bikehut are possibly flogging Condor bikes.

And, oh... Boris was in there yesterday. He was hanging out near the tyres, looking befuddled. Don't think he was going to buy a Pista.

I have a Topeak Road Morph for my OTHER bike, but when I'm in FGSS-compatible bike I carry a Topeak Pocket Rocket Master Blaster.

aidan its a good place...and its not CONdor!

I keep reading here that Condor is the worst bike shop on earth, and it's always in the back of my mind when I go there. But over the last few months I've been getting insanely good customer service in there. It's almost scaring me. Unfailingly nice, taking their time even when busy, offering to do thoroughly unneccesary things like putting cleats on shoes for me. And they were super-nice when my girlfriend, who'd probably never been in a bike shop before, went there to get me a pressie.

    Velorution I DON'T like, though!

leeww Now, the ashtray on my handle bars and the smoking, now that really has to stop. . .

Hmm... if the ashtray is one the left-hand side (US, right-hand side) that's fine.
