  Basically i think you want "zone 2 not near tube", or "zone 3 with tube".

  Oh and don't believe all the rubbish from the mac carrying nathan barleys that think

  I have a 531 saracen frame i'm looking to pass on -
  
  you can't see much from this photo and it was taken in early 2005 but the frame
  is in good condition structurally - paint a bit rough as you'd expect.
  Nice long drop-outs, fork doesn't quite match but is also 531.

  my advice would be to buy a cheapo conversion (from someone's home - ie hopefully not stolen!) - then
  you're set to have fun & learn the ropes of riding it, building it up and tinkering with it.
  After a year or two of that you'll know a lot more about what you really want and how to
  do your own thing with it if you then feel spending that spending loadsa moola on a showboat is really necessary.

  Mouse I am always impressed most by people who ride with kids on the back. I have real respect for people who do the tescos run / school run with a trailer on - I hope that'll be me in the future. However, with the added years and weight (me & the kiddie trailer) I doubt I'd be doing that fixed!
