Shipley and Keighley are a bit rough, but the little villages roundabout are nice. The posher bit of Keighley is called Riddlesden and is meant to be nicer. Steeton and Silsden are meant to be OK too, I've not spent time there though.

I lived in horsforth for a few years, it's 9n the north West of Leeds as you will know, so you can get out to nice stuff pretty easy.
Skipton is absolutely doable, the main issue you will have though is horsforth is in the Aire valley and Skipton in the Wharfe valley, so there's a climb there that cant be avoided. Not the worst but twice daily might get old!
Otley is near to horsforth and a great starting place for loads of rides into the hills. It also has many pubs per mile.
The places you mentioned are all on the Aire valley and as you said more built up, however Bingley is actually pretty nice, and you can get out to some good stuff from there easily, faily long way from horsforth though, at least for a daily
Haha no sorry it's fine, I was taking the mick out of myself! Should have read the title properly.
I looked at the geometry and don't think it's for me which is a shame, really would like a nice 853 frame but probably not this one.
Best of luck with the sale anyway it's a nice bit of kit!
