  In my boone the routing was also … and very flexy rear brake, so in the end i installed the trp cx9, perfect, a bit more on/off but for loose stuff and mud it is perfect.
  Boone was stolen, but would buy this combination again

  Simple and solid, koga i took from kleinanzeigen.de it needed some small modifications to make it a randonneur again.

  The smallest tolerance is the chainstay, and you can play around with the rear wheel position,
  I own a ‘94 special with the straight frontfork, it fits the new pirelli p zero race 28mm on a 19mm rim, it doesnt have the 4 mm clearance on the chainstay and the sram red calipers, so i m at my limit and am happy for the moment,
  Remind rim width, tyre width and height.

  Edit:Check page 141, is using a 28mm gp4000

  In page187 you can see my red gazelle, the sram groupset has some silver and black in. I still had a silver headset on the shelve.
  Stem and seatpost is best to match unless one is titanium or in frame colors

  A handlebar rack?
  Like: jack the bike rack or the specialized+fjallraven handlebar rack( has more height adjustability,
  I had a burra burra for commuting, same clamping, only then for a drybag. Didnt rattle.

  It has room for 38mm and is originally a cyclocross bike, no mudguard mounts
  I had one before, until someone took it from me :(
