Bumping this as happened to me today, I have bodged with a eraser for now and seem to be holding and working (have read of other people doing the same). Did you mate find a solution? I had trouble getting the brake fitting off was it just a 4mm Allen? Might try making a spring out of metal, have heard hacksaw blades can work, if I can’t get a spare
