I looked into getting a more expensive cargo bike and was really keen to get the Moustache lundi cargo bike but it never seemed to be in stock. We got the Mycle bike in September and it while it is good value I sort of think I should have spent the extra cash and got something like the GSD.
Have a couple of niggles such as the rear wheel spokes squeaking annoyingly when compressed. The disc brakes have been very tricky to stop rubbing. More worryingly the bike was not cutting off at the legal limit and was heading to 23mph. The company are slow to respond to emails but this is I suppose the danger of ordering via an online only store. The motor is a bit unrefined and it can feel like the bike just lurches forwards on the highest assistance. The higher centre of gravity has meant it can be awkward to handle when loaded with 2 kids and my wife has struggled in particular while manoeuvring the bike around.
On another note I got the bakkie cycles pannier to fit the large diameter tubing on the pannier rack and really impressed.

Long time lurker on this thread but thought would finally add to the mix. Got to test ride the Moustache lundi cargo bike this morning and thought it was very cool. They did say the dropper post has to be height adjusted by the workshop and not by the user which seems like a fairly bad design flaw. This is probably why the videos online seem to show people with saddles at completely the wrong height.
Thanks for that advice. I should do the upgrades as will hang onto the bike because it is still really useful to have for doing shortish journeys that I probably would have taken the car for previously. Problem is I am becoming a bit more lazy as I find myself doing enough pedalling to get the motor to kick in without having to use any force. Need to ride my gravel bike a bit more for commuting as before.
