  Dropping my Kona in here. It’s from 1995 - built up with new parts, modern wheels and (quasi modern) last good- looking shimano groupset: 6600 7700 down tube shifters

  Wouldn't it be "Old Grooupset on old frame"? Downtube shifters?

  I also have a hard time to understand and accepts these mountain bikes with drop bars but on the other side we can't blaim MOOTS if the market is demanding this...MOOTS will always have my respect! :-)
