I’m based in Northern Ireland now. Chain reaction store announced its closing down sale so went and had a look.
40-50% off most items.
Got a lifeline torque wrench set for £20, still £40 online.
Some GP5000 at 50% off, muc off brush set at 50% off, trail bib shorts with pockets and locks of high 5 stuff all 50% off.Absolutely loads of gear but I didn’t need anything. Kask helmets, Costelli, cycling shoe range, wheels, all heavily discounted. Shimano and sram service area with 40% off.
Felt terrible for the staff, guys working there for years and going to be jobless in a struggling industry

Dhb, vitus and nukeproof are probably the biggest of their own brands.
Mike Ashley has loads of commercial property so maybe you could see cycling gear integrated into what he currently has.
As much as people hate him he has saved a number of businesses and I’m sure he wouldn’t be interested unless they had thought it could be viable -
