Looking for a reliable road bike after mine was stollen pre-covid.
Prerequisites are:
a decent groupset, rear mech 9 speeds or near above as I'm mostly riding in town with the occasional trips out of the city
I do have a keen preference for Italian frames, but happy to consider anything else that isn't Trek, Specialized, Cannondale, Carrera
Not keen on contemporary geometry, so a frame manufactured between years 2000-2015 would be grand.
I'm 5'9 so 55 and 56cm frames fit nicely.
Drop down bars preferably but happy to consider alternatives if the price is right.Price range £400-£550 - I'm not looking for anything fancy and posh that will attract the attention of Ldn thieves.
I've been searching for over a month now, and missed a couple of opportunities due to my financial situation as a freelance carpenter in the covid era - in desperate need to get back on fast and light wheels that make my temples feel warm! Also happy to trade with my carpentry skills and knowledge.
Live in London, but will happily drive up to an hour or so out of town to pick up!

Free built box 1320x1070x220 in Kings X. It's done a couple of trips already and has cuts to attach bike to using zip ties. It will do another few expeditions for sure
