Potentially, Ideally I would change the stem to an S stem and add the bars I want. 1. I won't be able to get the colour I want in the stem and 2. I don't want to spend the extra haha.

I find the reach isn't far away enough. I prefer a slightly more road bike position. I understand I won't be able to get the exact same position, but even just a slight improvement would be great.

Has anyone changed their M handle bars to the S style or a bullhorn Style without changing the M stem to an S stem?
I would like to change my M handlebars but I don't really want the extra cost of adding a S stem for a further reach. I suppose I could get an extender as an alternative (https://www.rideabikes.com/product/bicycle/city/brompton/components---accessories/sf5-extendable-stem), but a bit unsightly.

That is top on my list. I'm use to riding a road bike, so will be nice to get a stiffer ride and improve the efficiency of each pedal. A lot of wants, just need to focus on the needs at the moment.
I do have to say. I knew brompton used these parts, but considering the high price Bromptons are, for obvious reasons that we all are aware of. I am surprised by the high use of plastics. For example. Plastic seat post clamp, plastic handlebar catcher, Plastic and badly cut mud guards etc.

I probably won't replace them for a while yet while I save up and decide which clamps to go for, but I will keep you in mind when I do.

I would really like to change the wheels to carbon rims, but still want to keep the ability of 6 speed. Which I know isn't a match made in heaven. Has anyone seen or heard of this being possible?
