Sorry. Lady from Lightweight confused me on this. I did register 2 sets (4 wheels) with them and when I spoke to her on the phone she said it would not be a problem and we could cede the protection.
I am now waiting for an email confirming this.
Regardless they are and will be registered and if someone decided to take them I'm happy to mediate in case something really happens. They are still almost 2k below retail ;-)
