He's a great guy, nothing was ever too much trouble and he taught me how to change the discs and pads properly one day when he was running out of time to get everything done! Hope he's doing well!

He did the cage, fitted the Recaro SPG's, coilovers and I forget what else!

I'm guessing your dad is Mark Fish? He did so much work to my old 182. Always loved visiting the workshop - always so many interesting cars!

Starting to get a little worried about Brentford's season now, can't seem to hold a lead and the squad has been decimated by injuries to key players. Just hoping we keep hold of Toney and make some good signings in the transfer window.

Agree, but I had to work with what I had in the shed!

A bit of fun DIY for a change over the weekend. Feeling left out when the kids and wife are all playing on their Switches, I took a punt on a steering wheel. Needed somewhere to put it though so put the old kitchen worktop to good use and hacked up a chair.

The Villa game went to shit when Ben Mee was (rightly) sent off.

Was a little disgruntled that the Bees didn't get a penalty when Mee was wrestled to the ground with arms around his neck, but that's just the way it goes. Before we were down to 10 it looked like Villa couldn't find a way through.

Maupay and Martinez were a good combo for shithousery! Disappointed with Watkins - not sure why he was being a prick after his goal.

Edit - now seen that Watkins is saying he got some personal family abuse from one of the fans and his celebration was directed solely at them. Not sure how I feel about that really. It certainly changed the game.

Finally got time to finish the kitchen extraction today. Whilst nothing went horribly wrong it was the ball ache I was anticipating.

Now it's 150mm metal ducting from the top of the kitchen extractor all the way to outside. It's made a world of difference to reducing the noise of the cooker hood and it actually does what it was designed to now!

Hardest bit was getting the position of the hole in the fascia in the right place. Despite removing all plastic head nails I couldn't get it off - I think it was secured right at the top too, under the roof and I wasn't prepared to go that far to get it off. Removing the nails gave me enough play to see behind it with my phone camera and then mark up where to drill the hole.

Brentford and Fulham don't have enough seats for the regular fans! Might get joy at West Ham - huge capacity stadium.
