  I forgot to specify that the fork is an Aeros Carbon and the tube measures 1 "1/16

  Thank you, but I am looking for a solution simply to mount a FSA bearing cap (or another brand) over the upper bearing and place the shims on it up to the stem.

  Good evening everyone.
  I'm assembling a 1998 Quantum Pro.
  I found the frame and the fork that belonged to two different owners.
  I would like to mount a 1 "1/8 headset thanks to a Cane Creek seat post shim that goes from 27.2 to 28.6mm.
  The problem is that I miss the bearing cap that rests above the upper steering tube bearing.
  Would any of you know how I could solve this problem?
