Recently picked up a Raleigh Super Course from the late 70s/early 80s for a song. I thought that it had strong rat bike/lock-up bike potential. In my haste/excitement, I did not notice the holes that some previous owner had installed on the frame. Perhaps a ill-advised attempt to stick a slipping seat post, and internally route the rear brake cable?
My question for the group: would you trash the frame and resell parts to make up the cost of purchase (about 30 quid), or send it on a hybrid woodwind/bicycle? -
Looks very similar to the Andel track crankset. Probably made by Andel and rebranded as Faggin. There is nothing wrong with them as a brand, but I would not call that a great value at € 110,00.
If you aren't in a hurry, wait for a better crankset to show up in the classifieds section. -
Bike is short of Bichael.
