Getting back into cycling after a forced hiatus due to illness. Re discovering the line between cool, and weird.

Pictures now added to the link above. Bit mucky, I'll give them a clean before sending them on.

    Surely just some wrapped innertube?

Has anyone got ti forks with theirs? Quite a big fan of the all ti look rather than the ubiquitous black fork. (I know, it could just be painted)

For sale is a Gazelle Formula Race frame in a midnight blue (the photos have come out a bit darker). The size is large. It has a small dent on the top tube (photo taken) and some wear to the paint mainly on the top tube (photo also included). The headset is a shimano 600 (sealed bearings Ultegra/Dura ace).

Some blurb about the bike frame: handbuilt Gazzelle Formula Race in 525 steel. This was made by Gazelle's small race department, the same shop that also crafted the legendary line of Champion Mondial frames.
After £100 posted, and that includes the PayPal fees. Happy to do a bundle with anything below.

A spattering of Ultegra 6500/3 components: brake calipers, front mech, crankset(52-42t in good condition), bottom bracket (spinning smoothly, but the beginning of a grumble), as well as a 3M stem. I'm not really sure what to ask for the parts - maybe something like 40, 15, 50, 10 respectively?

The bike and its components are in good used condition, please look at the photos to get an idea of the use marks. The frame is a large, but it is a racing frame: it has been built light with thin Reynolds 525 tubing and it has that excellent steel ride quality but I wouldn't recommend the frame to riders larger than 85kg , as it has been my experience that at those limits the frame flexes during hard efforts - part of the reason I'm selling it.

    Sizing:
    Seattube 58cm c-t
    Toptube 565mm

    Any questions please ask!

I also have a set of Mavic Open Pro's built onto Ultegra 6500 hubs that could be sold with the frame for an additional £80, but they have some wear and tear, including a replaced spoke in the back wheel. Let me know if you are interested and I will get some photos for you.

That's lovely! About to start a ti build for the same reasons as you, nice inspiration to make it more personal.
