Dreadful photo, but I took some time over the weekend to service the bike and swap out the wheels, tyres and derailleur, with some assistance from my toddler.
The bike rides and shifts smoother than ever before, and the middleburn hub is lovely and noisy. Looking to update the brakes next, along with pedals.

Hey guys! It’s been a while! Not much has changed, the muddy fox has been my daily commuter now for 2 years, the Peugeot is in parts, as is the Saracen. The Puch is used for shopping but otherwise is rusting away outdoors.
Been lurking on here enjoying everyone’s builds, however now being a dad of two I’ve been living a frugal life.
However I recently treated myself to some of Magic Components’ mothbars along with a Simworks quill stem. I’ve not ridden it yet but looks like a shorter reach.

Brooks saddle back on, got everything buttoned up and took the Muddy Fox for a decent off piste ride.
It held up well and seems to roll just as smooth on dirt as it does on the road.
Not too sure what the plan is from here, enjoy it I guess?
