Hmm maybe, so maybe i'll go around the block, then try turning it on again, see if anything happens. I tried pressing the button on/off when the wheel was spinning in the frame upside down.

And to mirror all the comments above (when working) the IQ-X is an incredible light.

Dynamo question. Took my wheel off to pop bike in car. Got home, plugged the block back onto the wheel as usual, and now it seems to have stopped working.

I've taken the block off, made sure wires are all ok, everything looks fine? Might try clipping the ends off as i have plenty of wire. I've also wiped the hub attachment to make sure its clean etc etc

    Anyone come across this before?

It's an SP Dynamo with an IQ-X light. I'm hoping its not the light broken... As far as i can tell the wheels spinning freely, so doesn't feel like powers being drawn.

Seems as good a place as any to ask, does anyone know where I can buy replacement washers for my Rivendell Silver Shifters (or dia compe if you prefer). The plastic washer that goes with the screw. see photo.

Can't seem to find them anywhere! even on the mighty SJS.

Made a few changes to my long runner. Ditched the flat bars for some Ritchey 'raised' drops, bar end shifter and put my Surly Nice Rack back on the front for my front panniers (mostly used for shopping rather than touring at the moment!).

Did a 160km ride last weekend and it felt gooood. Getting pretty excited for the 300km Wonderfully Wessex ride in July now!

FWIW, on my 650x47's I use 60mm Velo Orange 26" mudguards. Fit like a glove. I find they actually fit better than all the 650b specific mudguards i've had.

I'm planning on just turning up. Normally you just pile your bike at the front of the ferry, they don't have actual bike parking / bike limit.

I think that they show them as full because of all the walk on's with bikes (Wight Link), though I maybe totally off the mark with that.
