I'm not sure if there's a glitch in the forum or if its my end, but this thread is showing for me as 0 views and 0 comments, but I've had a few PM's about stuff so I know people have seen it...
If for some reason you've commented here and I haven't replied, PMs seem to be working so drop me a message!

Time for a clearout! I've been sitting on this tat for ages holding for future projects but the reality is that I want to build about three other bikes before I do another vintage project, so it might as well go and raise a few pesos to replenish the bike fund.
All items are in Cambridge. Happy for collection in town or can post anywhere in the UK for a flat £5 per shipment (not including wheels). I'll be driving to North London for work this Saturday 06/02 so could potentially meet up and drop wheels, but this is always a faff so prefer not to if possible. And, err, the pandemic...
Please bear with me if I've missed some details and on the pricing too. I'm no bike mechanic or vintage expert, I've just judged by eBay prices minus an LFGSS discount so let me know if I'm off on any of these.
Photos at the link here, numbers in the images should match the numbers below: https://app.photobucket.com/u/Andrews_Bike_Parts
1: Complete Shimano RX100 7 Speed Groupset and wheels - £75
Includes aero brake levers, downtube shifters, crankset, band on front mech, rear mech, front and rear hubs, rear cassette and Mavic rims.RX100 was Shimano's mid-range gruppo in the 90s and it's really nice stuff, the brake calipers in particular. All is 'RX100' branded. In fair condition - all working really well but various nicks and scratches (not NOS!), and clearcoat lifting from front mech, although I'm sure it'd all clean up alright. RX100 branding rubbing off some components. Rear Mavic rim is not true, although I've been riding around it for years and just adjusted the brakes to suit. Tyres are shagged. Could make a nice budget retro build for someone.
I've run this setup on my pub bike for years but since Cambridge is flat and I'm sure a thief won't appreciate the complete groupset, I'm converting to SS for simplicity. Also, no pubs anymore. Sob.
3: Campagnolo Aero Seatpost 26.2mm - £20
I think C Record but not sure? Usual fitment scratches, missing top mounting brackets4: 1950s Campagnolo track hubs - flip-flop fixed/single speed rear - £80
There's surely a wizard out there who knows the details of these, although I was told they came from a 50s track bike and the design/branding supports that. Chrome plated steel centres with the fine 'Campagnolo' stampings, low flange. Front is 32 hole, 70mm wide. Rear is 40 hole, 54mm wide. Fixed 18 tooth sprocket on one side, 17 tooth 'TD Cross & Sons Deluxe' (Made in England) freewheel on the other.Pitting to the chrome, spoke insertion marks on the aluminium flanges. Real finger in the air pricing on this one. Prices on eBay range from £55-250+ per hub for similar, who knows. I think £80 for 1950s campag is fair?
5: Campagnolo clamp on downtube friction shifter with pump holder - £15
Similar era to the above hubs. Branded clamp with lever and a rounded holder to receive a pump. Chrome plated steel is pitted and rusty.6: Campagnolo clamp on downtube friction shifters (pair) - £15
Need a good clean. Pitting and rust appearing on steel clamp.7: Campagnolo clamp on cable guide - £10
Clamps on to guide the front mech cable over the BB if your frame doesn't have them built in. Pitted and a little rusty.8: Campagnolo square taper British thread bottom bracket - £15
Measures 70mm across. Used but in great condition and spins freely. "Campagnolo 1.370" x24 TPI"stamped onto lockring.9: Campagnolo square taper Italian thread bottom bracket - £15
Measures 70mm across. Used but spins freely, some spanner marks on lockring. "36x24F" stamped onto lockring.10: Deda Murex quill stem, 80mm - £15
Trial fit only, effectively brand new11: Deda Murex quill stem, 100mm - £15
Trial fit only and then swapped for a more period 3T, effectively brand new12: Ritchey 27.2mm alloy seatpost - £10
Many insertion marks but otherwise fine and little used - swapped for Campag when I found one.13: NOS Continental Giro tubular folding tan sidewall tyre - £10
Carried it as a spare, very dumb in hindsight, I don't have the skills nor patience to change a tub on the side of a gravel byway in the Peak District...14: Mavic GP4 red/gold label tubular rims on Campagnolo hubs - £35
Rear wheel has a near new Vittoria Rally 23 tyre (500km), front Vittoria is punctured but I'll throw in the above tyre for free to get you going. Regina freewheel with 5 speed Campag cassette. Freewheel slipped on me just once while climbing, I got the puncture a few weeks later so swapped to clinchers. Bank on rebuilding the freewheel soon - I'll throw in the special "Cyclo" tool to remove it.15: Ofmega cotter pin crankset - £20
1950s/60s maybe? Cranks are 170mm. Never used them, not sure why I even bought them tbh. -
