I’m selling my beautiful 5-speed Condor Tempo because it simply does not get enough use and is taking up precious space in my flat. The original price was just over £1,400 – I’m looking for reasonable offers in the region of £600. I live in Walthamstow, a 10 minute walk from the tube station.
The Tempo is a perfect all-rounder for urban cycling or as a winter trainer in all weathers. The triple butted frame, wheelset and components are the quality you’d expect from a Condor build, and the geometry is racy and the ride is firm. The hub provides versatility but it could easily be switched out to become a single speed.
60% of the bike bought in October 2014 – 30% was bought in 2013 – on both occasions from the Condor workshop. The final 10% was bought during 2016-17. See tech details below. The reason for the bike being purchased at different times was due to a successful insurance claim after a very minor crash. The forks and frame were replaced – the rest of the new pieces were added as a formality – the remaining components were unaffected and signed off by the Condor mechanic. All paperwork, including receipts and Condor handbook, are provided.
The condition is excellent as the pictures demonstrate. There is a paint chipped area on the vertical tube, but other than it looks great. I took it to be serviced this week to optimise breaks and ensure it is ready to ride away.
