    Hi All,

This might appeal to someone here.

I have a Rab 1100g goose down expedition sleeping bag looking for a new home. You will never get chilly in this!

It’s an older made in Sheffield one.

I was planning to send it to Rab for a wash (bargain at £35) but it’s fine to use as is. I was just planning to get it refreshed, there are no funky smells or dodgy smears. There’s also a tiny repair (5p coin for scale) that I was going to get them to patch properly at the same time (£15).

Comes with a lofting bag (I’ve just kept it stored loose in a huge wicker basket and managed to lose the stuff sack).

Looking for £90 collected for it or £100 posted. I’m in Horsham, West Sussex, if you get the train down I can meet at the station. Or I would swap for a Rab 600W for the Mrs

Message me for more details or pics.

Pike came and sat about 6ft off the bank, right infront of us, a little 16” long jack, and just watched us for a good 5 minutes. We could have just scooped it up in the net but decided that would be unsporting. 2 hours of spinning later and not a nibble but a happy child that wants to go yet again. Shame that school starts next week. We’ve spent hours out there and she’s landed more fish in a few weeks than I ever did as a kid.

After a summer of my 7 yr old merrily catching assorted tiddlers in our little pool we went again yesterday and nothing. Not even a nibble. Went back this morning and spotted a jack pike which would explain why. It appears to have been washed downstream from the weir in the rains while we were off camping for a week and hoovered everything up. She’s now determined to catch it so we’re off for a spot of spinning in the morning.
