Hey, just looking for some help on rim/tire size and old/new compatibility :)
I am currently running on these 622 x 13 modern rims... I've been reading alot of confusing stuff about 27" being larger than 29" tires and that?!
Im slowly restoring my old raleigh superbe... I only inherited these wheels (initially temporarily) when I buckled the previous ones so these skinny little racers will be replaced with older touring rims eventually, that im going to re-build, but for now i need to change the tires because im getting too many punctures city riding!
Will they fit my current rims? and would they be okay to fit on older inch based rims (that i havnt bought yet)?
No, an old English bike with 27" wheels means ETRTO 630, i.e. about 8mm larger diameter than 700C
