    Yeah realised both comments. Sine there is so much now done online the only difference between any LBS now is service and I am choosing like any one else to toe with my feet. I'll also check for more AU-centric forums. Thanks guys and girls. Ride safely.

    Already have. The LBS are the Specialized dealers in this neck of the woods. They took my cracked frame so now I have nothing. So much for customer service. They claimed to have changed their point of sale software so cannot dig up the old receipt / sale details. So much for loyalty also. The LBS obviously does not believe in return business. Don't go to Northside Cyclery Chatswood AU.

    I have purchased 5 bicycles over the last 20 years from LBS and all were Specialized. My commuter cracked on the chainstay. The employee who sold it, Justin is still there at Northside Cyclery in Chatswood NSW. Lifetime warranty meant nothing as I only had a credit card proof of purchase not a receipt since this was insurance purchased 8 years prior. Lifetime Warranty is BS. They are cheats. Very unhappy and never going to that LBS again nor buying Specialized junk either. Australian consumer law does not help. It is for suckers.
