They seem pretty good, it was greasy where I was riding today with it being so dry until the last couple of days and they had no problem keeping me upright.
Did a loop which consisted of road, gravel fire road and rooty single track in the woods. Basically trying to find the worst ground to test them and was really impressed, only halted by a really deep mud patch but my MTB wouldn't have got through either so I can forgive that.
Im running the pressures higher then I want currently until i'm happy they're sealed so they will probably be even better with a few psi less. -
First impressions of tires tyres were good! Nice ride in the rain and mud was a good test.
@Cupcakes r2-bike.com German shop.
When I saw the resolutes I thought they were exactly what I was after so emailed hotlines the UK distro who said they were on order but had no idea when they would reach the UK!!
R2 was the first shop that came up on google, said they had stock and took paypal so I thought it was worth a try.
They despatched within a few hours and took 4 days to arrive so i'm happy. -

Got some more suitable "all terrain" tyres for the nature boy
and boy did they put up a fight! Poor tyre levers finally destroyed after years of service :(
With a mind to go tubeless shortly I Gorrilla taped the rims, which was lucky as I wrecked my last tube trying to fight the rear tyre on so was forced to stick a valve in and seal it.
42s seem to have ample clearance front and rear, hopefully get some good miles on them this week!

Nature boy has been on a little diet!
Finally got hold of a Ritchey WCS cross fork at a non crazy price.
Force Cranks, Absolute black ring and ritchey pedals
Small chain ring but its basically being used as an XC bike for the winter and maybe a couple of races!
took the SLR off the other bike aswell.
Seems a shame to loose the silver bits but its riding much better now.
Also for anyone trying to bodge gears on horizontal dropouts, the dartmoor hanger is notched in so you can get a full range of gears!
