Rotten wood underneath glass blocks in the shower, there was a big bead of silicon which wasn’t keeping the water out. Ideas for repair? I’m tempted to fill with cement.

Build up a Simple One bought from the forum, with some bits and pieces I’ve had stored away. Maybe the stem isn’t right but it’s all I’ve got that fits, tried to be as Rivendell as I can!

Fitted a new bath and taps and water starts spraying up the tiles, there’s a tiny hole in the tap casting !! How is this possible? It’s a bristan tap Poor QC?
