    Update:

I totally forgot about the designer Mauro Sannino when I ordered parts that it's an Italian bike made by Sannino or Corratec of Germany so I was shocked when I tried to install British Ultra Torque BB cups it just went straight in. I will have the thread chased at LBS and have Italian cups installed. The construction of frame is not very meticulous that there are many unfinished details inside the frame. The seat tube was not round inside from heat and also there are ends of downtube and chainstays sticking into BB shell. Other Corratec Formula owners, please let me know if you noticed the same issues.

Also 12-25T 10 speed cassette was a problem - the 12T is a tad too large, the non-stepped (the teeth without ramps) bit scratches inside the chainstay a little. I need to use wooden mallet to gently dent that bit rather than filing. The previous owner used 11T or perhaps 8 or 9 speed cogs apparently to avoid this but there are many scratches from chain rubbing against inside chainstay so I am not that optimistic.

Perhaps it's very different experience from buying a new , more accommodating modern frame online today even affordable ones from Planet X or Surly or something.

Xtreme Airline 3 sold by Rose Bikes is a good alternative to DT535 but it now shows as sold out. It's their regular item so I think they will have the rims back in stock again soon. I also used the Airline 2 rims which is no longer available and I was very pleased by the strength of it at even high spoke tension.

I think I need help! Anyway the position of bar end shifter is comfy, like a joystick, I can use it to turn the bike as well

Here I am supposed to post something funny and clever in response to Gaston's comment, yes?

Hits my knee when turning right and also it's closer to my right hand than DT or bar end.

I got this Corratec Formula (Cromor) frame last year on eBay. The original Columbus chrome fork which came with the frame looked so 80's so I was looking for a 1" carbon fork. I was outbid but got Terry Dolan cr-mo fork as a backup for only 6.5 pounds (plus über teuer EU shipping). To my surprise the fork's original peal paint job blends so well with the metallic gradation paint of the frame and is much lighter and stylish than expected. I decided to go Campa 10sp to make it compatible with my another steed but on the cheap by using bar end shifter. The original stickers looked so messy on this small frame (510 C-T 520 C-C) so I removed them. I will get modern Corratec stickers.
