Aching for a new project at the moment and since I have too many nice bikes it's time for a new rat bike.
So wanted: Steel track frame in the 54-56cm ballpark ... something that used to be a nice frame, so no hipster-era Bianchi, Cinelli, etc, please. Chipped paint and rust are fine, dents not really.
Show me what you got.

Couldn't be happier with my Sidi Drangons. Indestructible, fit like a glove and you can replace the rubber pads when they're worn out. I'm running Time ATACs, not SPDs, but shouldn't make a difference.

Yea, Carlton frames have wrap over seat stays.
Lugs could be Nervex.
Serial number appears to be in a format Schwinn used to use for their Paramount frames. A8724 would be the 24th frame of the model built in January 1987 (A being the letter code for the month, eg. A = January, B = February, etc).
Or may be I'm full of shit. Who knows.

Bunch of chaps with wide bars on Flat Street earlier. Then a black Dolan (I think) mashing up Uxbridge Rd/The Mall - tried to say hi but you looked too busy filtering through traffic.
