Another round with the Ratty Rusty Raleigh. Super fun bike for city commuting.
Threw a larger Wald basket on, but ended up not liking the vibes, so this is how she will remain.

Finally did a parts bin rehab of this old Raleigh. It was posted back on page 713 - half-a-wheel deep in snow. Weirdly, it posted under another username.

One of my favorite "Test" saddles. Mismatched wheels - 27 1 1/4 front and 700cx23 in the rear. Took it to a little jump track someone made in the park today. Too much fun. Ordered a Wald 139 for a back-sweat free commute. Great patina. Has a weird rub mark on the head badge from what I am guessing was a sketchily mounted basket.

Gotta keep up with the snow theme.
The ratty Peugeot out here helping me slog thru the slush.

Saw this guy rollin in the snow today. Shit weather out here - I'm not getting on the bike.

Had no idea where to put this one. But it was someone's work bike. So I feel like this best suits it.

I see a beautiful Brooklyn frame once a week now-a-days. Much rad.

Photodump of some bikes around NYC.

Couldn't get a great pic of the black Brooklyn MW, but she was beautiful.
    Saw the wrapped PURE today.
The rat on the rack was sometime before it got brick - November or so. Gotta love some of these beaters that live on the streets - never going inside or having a bath. Like the crust punks of bikes.

    Hi-ten workbike/daily shit-beater in its current form.

The pit is legendary man. Serious shit goes down there every Sunday.

I'm gonna be out there on Sunday and will try to snap y'all some of the pics of the rad beaters and polo bikes that are usually around.

On the subject - is this re?

It's stable -though I'm going to Loctite everything in the near future.

Definitely big on me. I've got an inch or so stand-over clearance.

Proper geometry considerations or minor-to-major flaws aside - it's a beater. Likely destined to become a work/polo bike by summer time.
