Statistics show that 97% of the bicycles sold in the UK are imported models. I want to change this statistic. I’m in contact with a number of master craftsmen in the UK who are building bespoke bicycles with passion and enthusiasm for their brand. I’m on a quest to introduce UK consumers to their fine products.
However, I need your help. I’m conducting market research for this venture and would really like to get feedback from like-minded enthusiasts around the country.

Thanks for the blunt honesty, I really appreciate it. To answer some of the questions;
1 - The bikes will use British built frames and will be assembled here in the UK.
2 - The bikes will be off-the-peg as opposed to made-to-measure builds.
3 - A question was asked 'why don't the customers just buy direct from the builder', you guys are all enthusiasts some of you even build bikes yourselves, but the majority of the cycling population are not. Anyone can contact the builder direct if they wish and if they can find them. We are connecting consumers to the builders, we come from a digital background, we hope to drive traffic to a feature rich site and can optimise the site to rank high in Google - something a lot of frame builders might not have the skills to do.
4 - Forged as in metal and hammer. Thanks for the feedback on this. We'll rethink the copy.
5 - The background image is not a bike we offer at the moment, it is stock photography.
6 - Frame builders do often have long waiting lists but a number we have spoken to are considering off-the-peg options with fixed geometry that can be produced in between custom made to measure frames.
