But you don't have to be an "Apple-guy" for buying a Mac, and you won't become an "Apple-guy" if you buy one.. I've had PC and Android phone for a loong time, but made choice of buying a Macbook Air, and I love it! It works a lot better, and are way more comfortable to use because of iOS. I still have my Desktop and android phone, because they give me something Apple products can't..
So don't be afraid of buying an Apple product.. ;-) They are great, and again as TRA is saying, just use dual boot, so you can use CAD and etc. -
Ever thought of buying a Macbook?
I love working with Photoshop (Editing pictures etc.) on my Macbook Air 13".. So perhaps a Macbook Pro 15" would suit you well? They are pricey, but they are wonderfull to use! -

I've been riding on my old steel fixed gear for a couple of years, but had to jump deeper into fixed gears, which is why I bought a real track bike.. After that purchase I just had to know more about fixed gears, or just bikes in general, so that's my main purpose on this site, knowledge!
I'm from Denmark btw, and I really like riding fixed gears, headphones, and photography!
