Hey. At the moment I am thinking of Tring Station which is on the line from London Marylebone.

Working Saturday… but will consider making an appearance out of the dark woods as you’re sitting down for dinner, or some time Sunday.

Very interested! Would be ok to join at starting point as I would probably be driving from the north?

Someone here offered to loan me a hammock and tarp setup to try.

Safe to assume that we'll be able to find a campsite with weight bearing trees?

bumping this thread, here we go.
weather is currently iffy. will wait a few more days then decide whether to do it or not.

the route is down below:
a nice mix of fast-rolling smooth tracks, bits of the ridgeway, rideable on most bikes, most fun on a short-travel or rigid MTB as usual.

start/finish at Tring Railway station probably at roughly 10:00 (whenever a train from London gets in)
