Eagle RC Hilly 35 mile TT 29 March 2015

Not really a race for fixed wheel but a cracking hilly course and old-style time trialling hospitality before and after the event. We've reduced the distance from 45 to 35 miles to reflect the early season.

The Eagle Road Club based in Ugley near Bishop Stortford hosts a time trial on the morning of Sunday 29th March 2015 on the E1/35 course. This begins near the Eagle clubhut and runs to Thaxted where it joins a circuit which uses quiet local roads. The 35 mile event will be fully marshalled and sign-posted and prizes will be awarded. Both time trial and road bike entries are welcome.

Parking on site and showers, kitchen, nice cakes etc after the event.

i used to live in saffron walden, know the roads, interested. Have to check if i can get the time off work before committing. Is safety helmet compulsory or fairing ok? dont think i can afford a proper TT lid right now.

It's CTT rules so I don't believe any helmet is necessary - just advisory. Best to check on the CTT website though.
