Soz to hear, I am flying back from holiday the night of the 30th, so I can't before.
Happy to move the ride to the Sunday if that suits the most though, even if that means I'll miss it. -

is this the stayer distance route ?

Honestly this is a collection of my favourite segments in Essex, without going too far.
I rode 100% of it, multiple times. But yes, there are parts from Stayer the Distance #1, Strade Bianche from Hub Velo, probably some Sunday Echappee, North London Dirt? as well and more if you compare/overlap. But all combined into something that I haven't seen on offer elsewhere.
Happy for anyone to snitch the route and ride it, the #NoGravel roads are for everyone!

Lurking in this thread, just in case

If anything this is better than the Stayer distance #1 - dare I say.
But not as good as their #3 - but that is a different thing. -
• #9
excellent. i did it once and didnt enjoy as much as herts+epping based stuff.
if i am not overworked i'll join, it should be dusted pretty quickly... hopefully it will be tarmac only -

;) there will be other rides

I'd be interested, assuming I can get away.
Do you think this is doable on a 28mm touring bike?I ride it off road quite a bit, but if it's clay, then it'll just clog solid after all the recent rain.

I am afraid this is a real concern. I have been away and won't have a chance to check the route conditions before the ride, so I can't rule this out. The route would have been doable in 28s in the drought of a couple of weeks ago, not so much now.

No cross bike for the next 2 weeks, or I'd be all over this.
In for the follow-up ride though.

Based on this morning Epping ride, there will be patches of mud, slick tires should be fine, but some single tracks might be skiddy.
It also looks like it might rain a bit more before Monday

Route and pics look epic.

UPDATE:
Due to recent weather and expected conditions 32c and above are recommended. I've amended the route to remove some of muddier bits, but mud is to be expected (make sure there is some mud clearance between tire and frame)I've amended the route above slightly, in case you copied it before.
Celebrating the fact that there is #NoGravel to ride in UK.
Extend to all that might be interested, we'll split in groups if we are too many.
The route is all doable on 28c if it stays dry, 32/35c for more comfort and faster vibes.
Meet at the start to roll at 8am sharp, the pace will be lively, but nobody will be dropped and we can regroup at junctions. It would help to stick to someone with the route.
There might be a cafe stop or two, or none, be self sufficient both mechanically and in terms of food/drinks. Beers at the end, somewhere.
(The picture below is just for attention, this route doesn't go by that section of #NoGravel)
