This is not happening until, at the very least the London players, pay their dues for the Clapham Tournament. Come on guys.

Why didn't anybody object when I posted it up as a suggestion in the LHBPA forum more than a month ago? Slightly frustrating. Sporting associations regularly pay for social occasions for their members, esp around this time of year. Also a bit unfair to punish everyone just because some people didn't cough up. Name and shame and then those people don't get the tab?

It's nice in theory to have cash for courts, but it's also nice to organise events that bring us together for social occasions. We raise money from advertising and corporate events, I think it's good to put some of that back into something that brings the community together, even if that is only chips and beer.

Agreed but we have to at the same time keep a healthy balance.

Have we ever used the lhbpa cash to buy a beer tab before? Seems a bit of a crap use of cash, we are all adults and can all pay for our own beer. How much did you have in mind?

Personally I don't have any problem with cash being used for pizzas or something, but you don't get much beer for your money
