In like Finn's.
-
• #3
Will have supper and train it this time!
-
• #4
Excellent. Definitely in for this. My mate Mark is probably in for this as well (might be on gears, dunno) - he's been on a few rides in years past, was on a lovely Lemond conversion in those days.
-
• #5
Ah, I remember the beautiful Lemond. I used to run into him (not literally) on the way to work quite often too.
-
• #6
I'm coming. Need miles.
-
• #7
so tempting .. YAL are you going to train both ways? Way back is a downhill ..
-
• #8
Yeah I'm training both ways but that's because I need to be home by midnight. But most reports have it (ie Jim and Will) that the ride back into town can be really great as the roads are empty and you can properly put your foot down.
Either way the WGC Travelator is great route. Perfect 4 ur fixie m8

Perfect 4 ur fixie m8
I know! But nah .. I hardly ever get to ride on flat terrain (thanks Kent), would enjoy a fast one on road bike.
Alright, In for the 19:18. Most likely ride back.
-
• #10
It can be a fast route but it won't be road bike fast. That said there is a good 8 mile stretch where you roadies can let it go a bit.
-
• #11
Of course I'm in. Might ride back, although the prospect of beers on the train home is tempting indeed.
Actually, might ride out as well. We'll see.

Bugger
I get married on Thursday morning I think it would be annulled if I went for a ride on Thursday evening!
The future in laws live in WGC.
-
• #13
In for riding and travelator and beers. Not so much for road bike fast ...
-
• #14
Yay!
-
• #15
Not working on Thursday, which can only mean one thing. The flapjacks will be making an appearance.
Will be knackered after trying to bring my plastering up to @Ramaye's standards. -
• #16
Your plastering was fine, if what you were trying to achieve was that rugged look of the Venus grotto at Schloss Linderhof.
-
• #17
It goes without saying though that the authority on whether your plastering passes muster with the Swan King would be @fussballclub.
-
• #18
Venus grotto at Schloss Linderhof.
Now there's a home decor idea.
I was thinking more of the late Stone Cave in Dalston
-
• #19
Who wouldn't want to live in a grotto designed by Bavaria's foremost fairytale enthusiast, swan fancier and @fussballclub look-a-like...
-
• #20
Shit the bed this is Thursday! And there was me thinking it was on Wodin's Day.
We doing this fixed, people?
-
• #21
Nah, skinsuit and aero bikes, get on with the programme.
-
• #22
The cool kids will all be fixed.
