I think I'm being thick...the Thorpe Park website states:
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis, limited to four tickets per purchase.
You will need to:
- Enter your promotional code.
- Supply your name, email address and postcode.
- If you are quick enough, you will receive your unique code via email.
- You will then be able to use this code to buy up to four 12p tickets online until 5th October
Does this mean that we need an initial promo code, then enter it plus name etc. to get unique other code, which can then be used to by tickets, or have they just worded it badly?
- Enter your promotional code.

PS - everyone try to buy 4, need I say!
-
• #9
Yeah, maximum number each!
-
• #10
That makes no sense what is the promotional code needed to make the initial purchase? I am confused.
-
• #11
Maybe the promo code is something like a captcha to make it harder for bots to get in?
-

I'll be driving towards the Forest of Dean tomorrow at 10am. Can someone bag me a ticket if they get a code?
-
• #13
Everyone just try to get as many as possible and we can work out between us getting tickets as cheap as possible between whoever goes.
I propose we try the 12p thing, get as many as we can if any, fall back with the 2-4-1 cereal packets, we can then buy tickets between all of us and split the costs to save all of us as much money as possible.

Back to the search for 2-4-1 offers, better than nothing.
Let's go ride all the rollercoasters!
UPDATED Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/14732482
It's pretty flat, perfect for a social roll out.
Trains run frequently from Waterloo to Staines, where it is a 3 mile cycle to the park. Obviously there is the potential for some groupsave action if 3+ people decide to get the train.
Or for those who don't want to cycle at all there is a shuttle bus from Staines station to the park.
Same as previous years I propose to cycle, meet at the Achilles Statue inside Hyde Park at 9am.
We will meet some other people, @fasih and @branwen at the roundabout at the bottom of Sawyers hill in Richmond Park.
