I enjoyed the London - South-End ride a century ago and this looks good so I'm in! If I can get my hands on a bike by then...

Wooo Sunday.
Been playing around with the route.
Cut out a badass hill and a lesser one, added some short cuts, plus cycle and coastal paths.
Trying to emphasise the sight-seeing and cut out some stressy roads. Might make the day slightly longer but way more interesting.
There have always been bumpy sections on this ride but nothing I wouldn't do on 23Cs.
Also learnt the pizza shop is open all day Sunday!

I know this is a dredge but can anyone tell me what the surface of the road/path is like between Reculver and Margate? Thanks!
-
• #24
It's either tarmac or concrete panels with annoyingly uneven joins, but that bit doesn't last too long. Can be seen in the last three photos above.

Thanks, appreciate it. Had a wicked ride today and this section was a highlight!
New Improved!

We found an amazing pizzeria
