We're potentially doing some clean up and repair work on the polo court next weekend. Is there anything specifically you'd like us to sort out?

Sorry I am in Ireland until next week..
HHV needs your help! Have you got a few hours on the afternoon of Saturday 27th Feb?
The idea for this day came from picking up litter which unfortunately (due to the weather, and also those loveable but pesky squirrels) abounds at HHV unless someone keeps on top of it. Following a discussion with HHV it transpired that there are a number of other odd jobs that really need doing. The whole place needs a bit of TLC, especially before the spring, and seeing as it gives us all so much joy (plus the occasional good dose of suffering, I suppose) a co-ordinated group effort would be a great way to go about it. One afternoon, with the potential for others later in the year. Many hands make light work, as they say, so please spread the word and bring anyone you can. Your time and help is greatly appreciated!
Please note: not all of these jobs sound hugely glamorous but they’re REALLY necessary and I promise the afternoon will be a laugh. It’s a great way to give back. And there’s cake. And coffee.
MAIN JOBS:
ADDITIONAL JOBS:
If you’re handy with bikes and parts, it’s be fantastic if you could help out with some bike-related stuff too (some maintenance, tidying up some loose bar tape, making sure bikes have matching pedals, pumping up tyres, etc) - all of these jobs are so important for the running of HHV and making sure everyone who uses it, however often, gets the best from it.
Finally, if you’re not able to come, or don’t wanna get dirty, but want to contribute - please bake or buy us a cake to share with our volunteers and drop it off! It’ll be a chilly day in February so a cheeky Mr Kipling/sainsbury's battenburg would be just the ticket.
If you’ve got any questions or think you can contribute in a way we’ve not thought of, either message me or post it below to get the ball rolling.
Cycling is a wonderful community - let's use this afternoon to give something back!
