Badgers go mountain biking in....... Suffolk?

Hi all. I fancy something a bit different to start 2016, and as Epping Forest will be a sludgefest for a little while yet, I'd like to head for a day out in Thetford Forest, where the trails cope better with the Winter conditions. So far it's just me and @IR going; would be good to see a few more out there though.

Should be a 90 minute journey from Kings Cross - Brandon station, with a quick change at Cambridge.

Yes, very much so. CX, fully-rigid mtb and singlespeed will be ideal for Thetford's mostly flat, but very twisty terrain.

Be aware that thetford is very sandy, so bring some spare brake pads/blocks, as it gets a bit grinding paste-like .....it won't destry your bike though,

@BareNecessities I might be up for this in that it's closer than Epping Forest to me. Permission will need to be sought obviously :) but I really do need to actually use the Giant more than twice... @Rikki might be up for it as well.

WHAT COULD GO WRONG?

Been pleasingly non-eventful so far. Cleaned off old tape - applied Stans tape - pumped tyres up to 40psi and they've held air for a week.

I won't be adding the sealant until after the Christmas Holls, at which time, I expect all the things to explode.
