    Nikon D700 DSLR
    "The Legend"
Very, very low shutter count of circa 2,900 actuations.
    Rare later 25xxxxx serial number.
No fogging to the rear LCD, or peeling / loose rubber grips.
Boxed with all original accessories, paperwork, packaging.
A few "hot" pixels which show up in jpegs if you zoom in closely, but they disappear when the photos are imported to the computer, if you shoot RAW (I tested it). No issue, and apparently extremely common with digital cameras in general, after I Googled it.
    £410 £400 posted (I paid £450 about a month ago).
There are plenty for sale cheaper, but they might have the cloudy LCD screen or peeling rubber grips issues mentioned above, or very high shutter counts, or other damage.

  • keen to know tripod price

  • Hi amey - Sorry I was editing the post. £470 posted.

    Edit: Price drop.

  • SPICY! but great tripod. If I didnt already own the peak design one .. maybe

what head does it come with?

  • I bought a gitzo tripod about 20 years ago and it’s been used professionally as my main tripod since then.
Hopefully it will see me out.
One of those bits of kit I don’t regret paying £££’s for.

  • Ha yep, they're the best. Even though it extends so tall, it's still very light.

Head isn't included, so supply your own, depending on what you plan to use it for.

Mr_Smyth - Good to hear yours has served you well.
