They're definitely re-badged Chinese frames but the mark-up is pretty reasonable given they'll take care of it all and you have a UK point of contact for any problems. I love my Waltly but going direct definitely isn't for everyone.

Yeah, the UK point of contact does seem good. However, with Waltly you get a custom frame if I'm not mistaken. That said, you can actually go and see a Gloria frame in the flesh, so to speak, in Fulham. Maybe I'll do that first and take it from there.

Yes. Recently.
Excellent communication and service, both pre and post purchase. Seem a very nice team.
The quality of finish on the frame is great, though I don't have any bare metal frame experience to compare with.
I am still building so can't comment on ride quality or longevity yet.
Bought as a replacement road and gravel machine and the geometry is a good match for me in this respect.
I did contact Waltly direct for a quote for a bespoke job (basically a Crux with ), though the costs ended up being comparable (once exchange rates, duty, freight etc had been accounted for) for what did not appear, to my untrained eye, to be vastly different geometry.
The UK based contact point is what swung it for me. I had a quality issue with a Wiggle end of days purchase that I could not get resolved. While I am sure Walty have good aftersales service, I just felt more comfortable knowing I could walk into a shop for a resolution if an issue arose.
Lead time was a benefit too.
Can't say either way on the rebadging thing, it is unclear to me whether these are batch produced for Gloria to their own spec or an 'off the shelf' type thing. Both practices are fairly common across the bike industry for all frame materials as far as I understand, including by some UK boutiqueish and big brands alike so I didn't consider it a deal breaker. -

They have some on display in The Archive and they do look pretty well constructed.

I know Gloria and Carlos very well indeed.
Full disclosure- he’s a friend. That being said, highly rate my bike which is a replacement for one of my favourite bikes (and I’ve had a few now) that was stolen and is now in Lithuania. It raced gravel, was my go to commuter, raced crits, did bike-packing. This one sadly only gets commuting/ dad-bike duties/ laps of RP.
On the process- built to spec from Carlos, prototype gets delivered to someone who rides the shit out of it (ie fkt attempt for the XC MTB), and then that is fed back to the final version.
Ask away, but I’m only on this site to brag on the minute cryptic thread sporadically these days! (So apologies if it takes a while to reply)

Got chatting to the owner not realising he owned a bike brand, he mentioned it later in the conversation.
Nice bloke which is enough to make me consider getting a bike if I was in the market for a titanium bike.

Ah, cool. Good to hear about positive experiences. Not going to be buying anything until the new year, but may well revisit this thread with further questions in the meantime. Cheers.
Anyone heard of or have any experience of https://gloriacycling.com? While they look good, I can't escape the feeling they're just rebadging some stock Waldly or similar titanium frames and sticking a few hundred quid mark-up on them into the bargain. Happy to be proven wrong, though.
