I think if you bend it it’ll point down no?

I think if I bend it twice, it would move forward and down, but remain level? Could be tricky
Not sure why it's so off - the rack is compatible with 26 inch (or so they say)

Suspension corrected fork? Quite a lot of space between the tire and the crown.

Quite possibly... the tyre is also a very modest 26x1.5 inch

Ha! Yes! I even have one knocking around, I will give this a try...
Edit: the flute is threaded so very fiddly to get mounted. Also not sure if the flute should be weight bearing

So just fiddle a bit till you get it.
I wouldnt worry too much about load bearing, most force will be downwards so on the brake mounts. -

Looks up to that job to me.
Bit of a tortuous load path for that upper mount, but I reckon kjelm is right about it not having a whole lot to do.
I picked up a Nitto M12 front rack, but the holes don’t line up with the brake mounts.
It’s steel so I could bend it to fit, or I could just return it and try something else.
What do you reckon?
