Deep, speedy wheelset that I used last summer for a few TTs and a trip to the pyrenees. I'm selling because I'm cycling a bit less these days. Heading out on a deep wheel set feels a bit 'look pro go slow' so I've treated myself to some low profile LightBicycle rims.
The wheels are in nice condition overall, the hubs are smooth and easily serviceable. They run true and have loads of life in the brake tracks. I've recently cleaned and re-greased the ratchet system (an easy job to do but one less thing to think about for the next owner).
The rims are matte UD carbon so show dirt and scuffs easily in certain lighting so I've tried to show as much as I can, as best as I can in the photos. They're not immaculate, but I wouldn't call them beater at all. The most notable damage is a scuff to the rear hub (linked pictures). I'm not the original owner of the wheels, and it looks like the last guy had a bump which has left one spoke a little dinked too (linked pictures). Doesn't affect performance and is barely noticeable, but thought it was worth mentioning.
Rims are 25mm external and 18mm internal, the previous owner fitted those little spoke hole covers to keep the weight down. 1689g from an old scale shot when I bought them.
Looking for £300 including postage from West Wales. Probably not the best time to sell these heading out of summer, but worth a shot.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
