FS: Kona Honzo ESD XL Frame plus dropper.

I came to the hard realisation that I a) very rarely ride this and b) when I do I’m probably not even scratching the surface of its capability. Thus, I’ve moved the parts from it onto a Spa Rove frameset and have this for sale.

It’s the extra large size, geometry here.

Condition - I don’t believe in helicopter tape, ride wrap etc so it has plenty scuffs and scratches. The worst of which are on the seat stays from the Mudhugger I always had on it can include the mudguard if you want it) and on the top tube behind the headtube where a stem/feed bag has rubbed a little.

That said, there’s no dents or anything, bottom bracket threads are sound and I’ve even sprayed it with Dinitrol inside to prevent any corrosion. Never crashed, never ridden hard enough to!

I’ll include the 200mm Brand X dropper as it’s too long to fit the new frame. The lever is present just not photographed and I’ve got a Shimano lever that attaches to the brake lever too, if you want that just ask.

I’ll also chuck in the tyres I was using, a pair of 29 x 2.6” Conti Argotals. Again these are in good condition, some slight wear visible on the rear but tons of life left and front is real good. Bit of sealant residue in one of them, the other cleaned up more easily.

Headset included too, just a Brand x cheapy but does the job perfectly fine.

I paid £799 I think it was for the frame less than 18 months ago, I’d like to ask £400 posted for frame, dropper post, headset and tyres.

Few more photos and a note that the headtube badge isn’t the normal one, it comes with the goat head one but it was applied squint so I took it off and put the gold one on instead, think I have the goat head one in the garage, will pop it in if I do.
