[SOLD] Holdsworth Elan F&F + Mudguards (55cm tt, road disc)

Hey Lufgussers,

Unfortunately, I'm putting this frameset back on sale as it's collecting dust. Bought it from Spotter earlier this year. I wanted to build it up as a winter/poor-weather, commuter, all-roader and occasional tile-bagger type of bike, but have made such little progress - owing to the limited amount of (the aforementioned) riding I'm doing, and compatibility nuisances with some of the parts I wanted to use for this project.

Size-wise it's a 55cm top-tube, 52cm seat-tube so is around an M. Standard 27.2mm seatpost, and 1 1/8", uncut steerer. Here's a link to Spotter's thread with all the pics and info you need: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/389397/#comment17309713

The frame is in great condition but does have a few paint chips. I'm not in a huge rush to sell and may well continue building this if there's no interest, so price is what I paid: £115.

Is this frame still available? I was interested in buying from Spotter back then but didn’t have time for a project. Now I’m up for it and have a few spare parts to use!
Also - anything unusual about the frame that created compatibility nuisances? Is bb standard bsa threaded? And is head tube for a standard 1 1/8 headset? (Those are spare parts I have!)

Hey, yeah it's still available.

Nope. Standard 1 1/8 steerer and threaded BB. It does use QR and post mount brakes calipers (on IS mounts which come with the frame). I had some spare brakes, but not wheels as all mine were on thru axle.

I also have a sram apex 1x mechanical groupset I could sell.
