Further Price drop: Hope Union Trail pedals and cleats

In excellent condition…work beautifully…come with two sets of cleats (4 degrees float and 12 degrees unclip angle and 5 degrees and 13 degree angle) includes the original box and a torq spanner.

Only selling as one of my legs is shorter than the other by 5mm…and the shim I bought won’t work with the Hope pedals…so I am going to buy some Shimano SPD pedals….so part exchange for XT or M540 pedals is possible.

Looking for £70 including RM Tracked 24 postage and PayPal fees.

I thought there would be some interest as these are beautifully made pedals at a reasonable price but if I am wrong please tell me.

I run the xc pedals, very good. Not quite as good float as time but they last more that 20miles!

For me 4/5 degrees float is sufficient. The pedals are beautifully engineered by Hope and virtually bomb proof…even come with pins…so you can use shoes without cleats on occasions.

I agree, everything is a balance and overall they're the best system available. If they where the RC pedals I'd have grabbed them.

do you know if these pedals are compatible with shimano cleats?

No…only work with Hope cleats…made out of stainless steel…you get two pairs…and Hope make replacement cleats….the Hope cleats are a bit bigger/wider…but don’t be put off by that…Hope cleats will probably last a lot longer than Shimano cleats.

If you buy the pedals you can have a Hope 31.8mm seat post clamp in black for free….if you bought one new it would be around £20

The cleats come with torq (T25) bolts and I will provide a Torq T25 wrench.

I love Hope, but the issue for me is that nearly all the Hope gear I see being sold here just isn't the right colour for the bike I have in mind lol.
