I'm after a couple of Altus 8 speed rear derailers if anyone has spare.

I took this filthy thing off a bike the other day. Jockey wheels ain’t great but the springs and pivots all seem ok. Yours for postage if interested (I’ll clean it up first!)

most older Shimano 7/8/9 (And first gen 10 speed road) speed rear derailleurs will work as a replacement for an MTB/flat bar shifter. So Alivio Altus from earlier, 7/8/9/ speed Tiagra (not the later stuff) 105 even an ultegra 8/9/(early 10 speed) would work with an 8 speed flat bar shifter
