Gathered a collection of parts. Ultegra 6500 cranks with an Alfine chainguard (because trousers!), XT M739 v-brakes, MKS x Crust sylvans and Azonic (circa 2006!) riser bar which definitely needs swapping for something with some sweep.

When I was 16 I worked in a bike shop and sold a lot of Canondales so I’ve always had a soft spot for their design, having said that I’ve only had a few as serious bikes but I’ve always loved how well they seem to come to life in reimagined and repurposed ways.
I’ve now gathered a few frames to (slowly) build up in this manner, although mine won’t be as cool as any of these—some of my favourites:
