Got a pair of 27mm Vittoria Open Pave's with some life left you could have for low cost if you can pick up from SE4

How've you found em with punctures? I had a pair years ago but I remember them cutting up like nobody's business. That said, it is for summer wheels so they won't see much rain.

I thought Controls were the more robust version of normal Corsa's, ie the one used for cobbled stuff.
In any case, I've not found them particularly bad for punctures, just the usual lifespan issue that after a few years the sidewall starts detaching from the main tread...

Not bad. I think I may have had one with them. Tread life was the main issue I found with them but this pair still have some of that left.

Maybe you're more fortunate with your local roads than me/better at avoiding stuff in the road hahaa? I have pretty new Corsas on atm and they puncture pretty regularly. I don't mind it so much when it's on shallow alloy rims, but they're an absolute bastard to mount/take off on my carbon summer wheels so anytime I do get a puncture it's a herculean task to get a new tube in. Not ideal on the side of the road hahaa.

How about Michelin Pro 4 Endurance 25mm x2....hardly used including 3 Michelin light weight butyl inner tubes....they measure 27mm on H+Son Archetype rims.
No nicks or cuts... photos on request.

I’m selling a pair of Hutchinson Fusion 5 performance in 28mm, just haven’t got around to listing them yet.
From personal experience, great puncture resistance. They also rate really highly for weight and rolling resistance according to that rolling resistance website, but I’m still terribly slow. I have them on my two road bikes both tubed and tubeless.

I actually have some. Excellent tyres! I use them in the winter because 28s won’t fit under mudguards and rim brakes (they’re still a tight fit). But I’ve, probably foolishly, gone sans guards for the summer so looking for 28s.
Cheers though!

Are they the clincher version? This could be ideal because they’re probably one of the few tyres that isn’t a ballache to fit onto my Mavics.

I have a pair of almost new (1 ride while waiting for some 32’s to arrive) Tufo Comtura 3TR 28mm

They are Tubeless ready (or the Hutchinson equivalent).
Anyone got anything spare?
Looking for something reasonably fast but with half decent puncture protection. They'll be going on fairly deep section summer wheels so not GP5000 or Corsa Control. GP500 because they're an absolute bastard to get on and off carbon rims(technique, smechnique) and Corsa Control for the aforementioned puncture protection.
They don't need to be new, just a bit of life left in 'em.
